Nay Ah Shing Food Services

Nay Ah Shing foodservice strives to create appealing and nutritious meals for the students and staff, in accordance to the USDA guidelines. Most of our entrees are made from scratch, and a fruit/vegetable bar is provided daily at each school.

Nay Ah Shings Gardens

Nay Ah Shing has several fruit, vegetable, and herb gardens that are over seen by the Nutrition Services Coordinator. Students start plants from seeds in their classrooms each spring, and tend them until it is time to transplant them outside. The students help with the transplanting and care of the garden over the summer, as well as the harvesting. The produce is then incorporated into the school meals or used as taste testing in nutrition education sessions.
